  • The tax calculators run in your browser. The amounts you enter and your results are not sent to us, stored, put in the page address or recorded in analytics.
  • We receive your name and mobile number only if you choose to send them through the contact form or contact us on WhatsApp.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Advertising and analytics by Google are used only where described below and, where the law requires it, only with your consent.

Who we are

Tax Calculator 360 (taxcalculator360.com) is an independent website offering free Pakistan and US tax calculators. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean the team that runs Tax Calculator 360. You can reach us using the details at the end of this page.

Information you provide

Contact form ("Need help with tax filing?")

The form asks for your name and mobile number (with its country code). The country of the number is worked out from what you enter. Nothing is sent until you press Submit. Then one of the following happens:

  • WhatsApp chat: WhatsApp opens with a message containing your name, number and country, addressed to our business number +92 311 399 5553. The details reach us only if you send that message.
  • Automatic delivery (if enabled on the website): your details are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards them to our WhatsApp number through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta.

WhatsApp and phone

If you contact us through the WhatsApp button or by phone, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and whatever you choose to send. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp LLC / Meta under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

What we do not collect

  • Income, profit, export proceeds or any other amount you type into a calculator, and the results.
  • CNIC, passport or IMEI numbers. The PTA mobile tax calculator never asks for them.
  • Account details: there are no accounts or sign-ups.

The PTA calculator may add the phone brand, model and storage variant you pick to the page address so the link can be shared. That contains no personal information.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver and secure the site.
  • Session storage. If you close or submit the contact form, your browser's session storage remembers that for the current browser session so the form is not shown again. It stays on your device, is not a cookie and is not sent to us.
  • Tax news. The "Latest Tax Updates" list is loaded from a file on our own website. No personal information is sent to obtain it.

Cookies

We do not set our own cookies. Cookies and similar technologies may be set by Google when advertising or analytics are active, as described below. At the date of this policy neither advertising nor analytics is active on the website.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, for example the number of visits and the pages viewed. Calculator inputs and results are never sent to analytics. Where consent is required, analytics cookies are used only after you agree. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the calculators free. Ads are not active at the date of this policy. When ads are shown:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (opens in a new tab). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (opens in a new tab).
  • Ads are labelled "Advertisement". We do not control which ads appear and do not endorse the advertisers.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising and analytics cookies are used only after you make a choice in the consent message, which is provided through a consent management platform certified by Google. Until you choose, Google tags run in a restricted mode with storage denied. You can change your choice at any time through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer, where available.

How we use information

  • To reply to your enquiry and to follow up with you about tax filing assistance, which you ask for by submitting the form or messaging us.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we do not add you to marketing lists unrelated to your enquiry.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

  • service providers that run parts of the service for us: our hosting provider, WhatsApp / Meta for messages, and Google when ads or analytics are active;
  • professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.

These providers may process data in countries other than your own, under their own safeguards.

Retention

We keep the details you send for as long as we need them to respond and follow up on your enquiry, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer or you become a client under a separate agreement. You can ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, the calculators keep your figures on your device, and access to messages we receive is limited to the team that handles them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the contact form.

Your choices and rights

  • You can use every calculator without giving us any personal information.
  • You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you, at any time, using the contact details below.
  • You can control advertising cookies through "Privacy choices" (where shown), Google Ads Settings (opens in a new tab) and your browser settings.
  • Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK or some US states), you may have further rights, such as to object to processing, to data portability or to complain to your data-protection authority. We will respond to requests as those laws require.

Children

The website is meant for adults dealing with their own taxes. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We link to official sources such as the FBR and the IRS, and to WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If the website starts doing something new with information, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
